The history of Rolex in Kazakhstan started in 2005. Since then the iconic Rolex watches, a timeless symbol of status and achievement, have become available to the Kazakh clients in the selected watch stores.

The first Rolex boutique opened its doors in 2012 in Almaty - the cultural and financial center of Kazakhstan. The elegant interior transcends the authentic style of the brand whilst creating an ideal atmosphere for clients to familiarize themselves with the collection of Rolex timepieces. The boutique also offers its guests private viewing rooms and access to a certified Rolex service center.

The most prestigious tennis competitions around the world are supported by Rolex.

In Kazakhstan, the Davis Cup tournaments have been held since 2011, where Rolex is the official timekeeper.

In February 2016 Rolex became a partner of a ski racing competition. The event took place in Shymbulak, a renowned ski resort in Kazakhstan. The brand values of Rolex naturally align with the spirit of triumph, winning, and consistent hard work to achieve the best results possible.

Rolex makes a unique and lasting contribution to global culture. In 2017, the Final Round of Plácido Domingo’s “Operalia”, the World Opera Competition, was held in Nur-Sultan at the Astana Opera with the support of Rolex. The competition first took place in Paris in 1993 at the world famous “Grand Opera”. Since then Plácido Domingo’s “Operalia”, has travelled to some of the most distinguished stages around the world. The competition in Kazakhstan featured 40 artists from 17 countries.

The second Rolex boutique in Kazakhstan with new conceptual design and elegant interior has been opened in December 2019 in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan.
